Phlebology 

Do you suffer from varicose veins, spider veins, heavy or swollen legs, or lipoedema? In phlebology, we examine and treat diseases of the superficial and deep veins. We are here for you and will provide you with expert, personalised support on your journey to healthy legs.

Our vein specialist

Dr Sandy Naumann is an experienced vein specialist with many years of expertise in phlebology. As an FMH-certified specialist in surgery, she has been supporting the DermaFalk team in Basel since December 2025. She performs thorough examinations of veins using modern ultrasound diagnostics and also treats patients with lipoedema. One focus of her work is the treatment of spider veins and varicose veins, including sclerotherapy. Thanks to her in-depth training at renowned Swiss university hospitals, she has broad and extensive specialist knowledge.

Ultrasound examination

  • Examination of the leg veins to diagnose varicose veins and spider veins

Sclerotherapy

Compression therapy
